How I Faded Sunspots On My Face
There is not much that upsets me (about myself) worse than seeing sun damage on my face.  Even though my Mom warned me, I just thought that I could cover up minimal damage when the time came, if I ever even needed to.

Now here I am, at 40 years old, and have paid dearly for my sun mistakes.  And I do mean paid.  Because to truly get rid of sun spots, you have to use some high-end products and they are expensive.  But they work.  Really work.

I know because I tried a ton of things, in a ton of combinations, until somehow I found the magic formula for fading and keep sun spots at bay.  I started using a combination of products twice a day and the results are finally what I wanted to begin with- much, much clearer skin and very little to cover.

But before I tell you what I used, you need to know that it took about 4 weeks to start really seeing results and 3 months for others to start noticing.  In fact, I am in month 4 of using the combination below and two different Moms pulled me aside at baseball practice this week and asked what I was doing to my skin.  I cannot tell you the last time someone asked me that question.

So, here is the combo that works...

Morning Routine
Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser - Full of sunspot fading glycolics, this is the best cleanser for faces with sun damage.  Jan Marini's skincare is huge in L.A. for a lot of reasons, but mainly because it delivers where sun damage is concerned and out here, we have a lot of that.  Buy here or Amazon *Beware of counterfeit copies of this products being sold on Amazon.  >>

Prevage Anti-Aging Skin Tone Corrector - When I first started using this, my skin seemed to look worse for a while, but several people told me to stick with it and I am so glad that I did.  As strange as this may sound, I can literally feel this serum working.  Buy here or Amazon *Beware of counterfeit copies of this product being sold on Amazon.  >>

SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion
Because of the glycolics and anti-aging serum preceding it, I needed a super hydrating moisturizer that wouldn't clog my pores and that would protect my face from further damage.  This cream achieves all of that plus some.  It is just fantastic and your skin will feel great all day.  Buy here >>

Evening Routine
Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser - Same as in the morning, I use this at night to remove makeup, dirt and impurities from the day.  It refreshes my skin and preps it perfectly for the next steps.  Buy here or Amazon *Beware of counterfeit copies of this product being sold on Amazon. >>

Holly Doss Organic Vegan C Serum - You would think this would be an obvious choice since I work for Holly, but honestly, she told me to try everything until I got results, so that's what I did and still came back to hers.  It is, hands down, the best Vitamin C Serum on the market right now.  Buy here >>

Prevage Anti-Aging Overnight Cream - This night cream is worth the entire process.  It is one of the thickest (without clogging), creamiest night creams that I have ever used and you will wake up with a glow.  Unlike most night creams, it doesn't lose its moisture overnight.  No.  It actually keeps your face hydrated and continues to do its antiaging job.  Buy here or Amazon *Beware of counterfeit copies of this product being sold on Amazon. >>

1-4x / Week

Sisley Paris Radiant Glow Express Mask - When I first started this quest, Holly told me that I must use an exfoliating mask at least once a week, preferably twice a week (at least the first few months).  Masks have a way of multitasking and getting instant results, yet feel a little more luxurious than the sometimes burning at-home peels that yield similar results.  I have to say that I tried several really good ones, but this is my all time favorite and my husband comments on my skin every time I have just used this.  Buy here >>
