Hair Loss

Hair Loss

Okay.  My hair fell out after pregnancy.

I mean IN CLUMPS.  Not just 'postpartum shedding'.  It was bad.

So much so, that my husband thought there was something seriously wrong with me.

However, there was nothing 'wrong' with me other than I was severely deficient in key nutrients after having been pregnant for 9 months and I needed to make some changes to reboot my hair routine.

I did a lot of research and tried a ton of different products, but there were patches around my hairline that just would not grow back.  No matter what.

Finally, by total accident, a combination of 3 things began to work.  And fast too.

1. I did a series of 3 Keratin Protein treatments over the course of 6 months.  Do not do this at home!  Go to a professional and ask for a Keratin strengthening treatment.  It will strengthen what is there and keep more from falling out.

2. I took Baby Mama's Hair Repair Max, without fail, every day for months.  I used to think Biotin was the answer to growing hair faster until I found Baby Mama's Hair Repair Max.  My hair grew faster than it grew during my pregnancy. Like. A. Weed. *See picture above of before/after shot.

3. I switched hair color brands just because.  My Stylist did not love this, but I convinced her that I needed to change my routine after reading an article about hair follicle resistance and intolerances over a period of time.  It had nothing to do with the brand she was using, it was just time for a change.

Fast forward to now and my hair is back.  It is down to my elbows and the bald patches are a thing of the past.

Always consult your Doctor if you think a medical condition or medication could be causing hair loss.  If you get the clear, then try my 3 suggestions and you will be good to go!

XOXO,
